The VE BBQ season continues!

The next BBQ of 2012 will be taking place

when: 4th of August (Saturday), starting from 13:00 (and going till late - it usually does)
what: VE BBQ. You should bring something to grill and something to drink - good company and firewood will be provided
where: Donauinsel, near U1 stop of the same name

directions: Here's the map of where it is exactly. Walking distance from the U1 donauinsel, on the Donauinsel, not the side of the UN. (Take the exit at the back of the train & station if you come from the city, and turn left onto the donauinsel, the BBQ is on the left, down the stairs, after about 100 meters.)

Serously, why do you always arrange the BBQs for when I am not in Austria . For this one and the last one I have been away. What are the chances of anthor one occuring later in the summer?

There are two for the summer ending on Sept. 8th and/or 9th.

Wel, rs, when you signed up to Vienna Expats did you read the terms and conditions?? I thought not!
The T&C allows us to bug your home and office and read transcripts of all your communication - with that knowledge we arrange events when we know you'll be out of town.

You'll be relieved to learn however that there is no ulterior motive, it is just for our own amusement. Actually we're pretty bored up here in VE Towers most of the time.

Getting back to the point, here is a run down of *possible* BBQ dates for the rest of summer
- 19 August
- 8 September
- 15 September

These dates depend on us providing a host and the weather being acceptable I hope you can make one!

Haha, ok. Well I shall have to try harder at confusing you all so that I am actually around when you think I shall be in anthor country hehehe. Well 15th September I am also not in Austria, but other dates after 8th August, not including the weekend previously mentioned should be ok. Hopefully I can make it to one

hey, well we would generally like a note to know roughly how many people are coming but there is no official register.

Just turn up on Saturday afternoon with some meat and drinks and enjoy yourself

Everyone is welcome, even Austrians occasionally!
