hotel/hostel needed in Kitzbuel

heya all,

I need to do an overnight in Kitzbuel (sp?) but I'm having problems cos I only need 1 night. Most/all places I've called want a minimum stay of a week.

Can anyone suggest/recomend anything in the area? I'll be driving so can be flexible, to a degree, with distance although I'd prefer not to drive half way back here again ;p

Why not try in St Johann in Tirol or Kufstein - not too far away?

There should be at least one open room in a Gasthaus that isn't listed on the Internet. You might have to drive around a bit, but seeing as how Kitzbühl exists purely out of tourism, you should be able to find something in the village or nearby.

On the day of travelling locate your local tourist info office.

They have lists of everywhere.

If not drive around a bit and there's always places in B&Bs at 40$ a pop.

just wanted to say thanks for the tip on the tourist office. They found me a room .FYI cost me €150 for 1 room, 2 ppl, including breakfast. Was smack bang in the middle of town (when I tried on my own there were either no rooms or €300 rooms),

Ok not quite 40$ but i've always done that and come up with a result. Its not possible everyone is full and the tourist office has links to every single place to stay, updated in an instant.
