This was just to discouraged the amateur, the pro will always get your bike here as in NYC.

Also, LuvBeers, I have had two bikes completely replaced because the Haushaltsversicherung of my building covered bike theft from within the building. (As well as a bike locked to the exterior of the building.) Your digs are kind of snobbish, so I think they probably cover it.

Big tips to do:
Ask the owner of your apartment first about the existence of Haushalstsversicherung, and not the Hausverwaltung company of your building first, since the owner is more on your side.

There have been instances where Hausverwaltungs have denied that they have the insurance when they actually do have it.

Go to the police. Now. For any insurance you will need a police report, and it looks a lot better when the crime was reported right after it was committed.

not really sure when it was stolen as I haven't been biking this month. but yes I went to the police on Sunday when I got back from oktoberfest.
