Bicycle GPS with Vienna Maps
Hi Everyone
I know there are a lot of cyclists on the site so maybe someone can help me? I am looking for a gps system which includes directions and maps for vienna to be used with a cycle. I am useless at finding my way round and having to check the route everytime I want to cycle somewhere is getting v. tedious v. fast. Ideal would be a 'tom-tom' style thing but something which could just tell you on the fly where you are and give a list of directions would be good a la google maps (which doesnt have cycle routes).
I can find plenty of stuff for recording afterwards where you have been but is not what I want and am not too sure what the point is.
I also have an iphone if someone could recommend an app with said functionality.
many thanks in advance!

iPhone....Google Maps.....sorted!
Alternatively as a cheap option, buy a low-end TomTom sat nav and carry that about.
Cheaper still, buy a Vienna A-Z from a book store. They're about 8eur and funnily enough, paper books still work!

yeah but you can kill yourself checking the paper map every now and then on the bike... trust me, i've done this for one year and a half now

I was told about this link

You can't take it on your bike, but it might still be useful
