Looking for gym or fitnessclub in the 3rd

Hey,

I'm looking for a standard, not too expensive gym or 'fitnessclub' in the 3rd district - preferably around Kardinal Nagl platz, Rochgasse U3 or Schlacthausgasse U3.

I have already been to Rabengasse fitnessclub but it is a pure n' simple muscle gym and the cardio facilities there are a bit of joke - two old-school bike machines facing a wall.

If anyone has any suggestions please post 'em here.

Euro gym, means you can go to the Rennaisance Imperial Riding School hotel gym by Rennweg station, sauna, swimming pool, dampfbad, gym, and another 7 locations around vienna.

I was totally satisfied.

I'd avoid that like the plague. It's filthy dirty and the members seem to fit that also. I've regularly seen people urinating in the communal shower and I've even seen people shaving their pubes too.

At the local baths where I grew up in the UK they have a sign by the jacuzzi saying "No shaving allowed in the Jacuzzi!" - how many people have to do it before they put a sign up, and where do these public-shavers come from anyway!?!

I have no complaints about the place. Good equipment, good prices, good classes, clean facilities, friendly staff and I have not seen one person shaving or urinating in the showers.

McFit Mariahilferstrasse is really good, just give it a try at a "kostenlose Probetraining"...
