Off topic!
I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion on the merits, or otherwise, of the 2nd district. Suffice to say that I have heard the 2nd has some of the most popular dogging facilities in the city, and let's leave it at that.

Tatt, for a poor Yank uneducated in the English vernacular, what is dogging?
Oh yeah my goal over the next 6 weeks is to try all four places and report back. They all sound great. Thank you Tatt for starting this thread on "Pizza".

Hey there,
Dogging is a modern cultural activity which has developed in the UK over the last decade or so. Made popular by the involvement of professional footballers and other minor celebrities, many people of all ages now enjoy the varied delights of a quiet carpark on a rainy Friday night to watch other people taking part in the physical act of love, usually in a car.
Take along a few beers, the company of good friends or acquaintances and maybe some night vision goggles for a better view.
I can reassuringly inform you that it is nothing which you could involve an actual dog. I hope.

I heard in the 2nd district, its common practice to be allowed to reach in through the car windows for a grab and a feel.

What if you end up in the wrong area if the lights are dark and then the discussion would be really off topic because you could end up in other district entirely.
Not to mention if you don't have a cage for a dog in the car.

It is not our fault if the 2nd district has a certain theme regarding it's popularity.

To be honest it's got good and bad areas.
I think good areas are nearer the canal, and the big park (not prater), bad areas are generally nearer the danube and industry zones.
It's rated as up and coming, like dogging.
There's a small strip next to the canal and prater right over from the third that has the best accomadation and most glorious houses near the centre of Vienna I know of. This a a bit south of prater strasse. But you move 1/2 k further south and it's a pit again, so much for big city life.
