Bleeding radiators?

Postby morgenhund » Sat Nov 21, 2009 12:40 am

I realised that I have probably never bled my radiators, so there is a lot of air in them now (as suggested by the fact that the bottom of them is warmer than the top of them). Does anyone know what I need to bleed my radiators?

Bleeding radiators?

Thanks - managed to find some info online that told me that a "Vierkantschlüssel" is what I need for the job. Off to OBI I head... And for those who wondered what radiator bleeding is in German it is unsurprisingly "Heizkörperentlüftung".

They do sell them at Obi at the bargain price of EUR 1.69 for 2. Has done the trick so Morgenhund Towers is heating properly again!
