How long in Vienna: since Christmas 2007

Why in Vienna: The usual way most Ausländers turn up here; I met an Austrian girl and she told me Vienna was the best city in the world to live in. She was right. Now I am a happy, productive member of Austrian society. I have a job at one of the large Austrian banks where I try to teach my colleagues about British culture - like making a cup of tea and actually working on a Friday afternoon. Sometimes I go to the mountains, but my heart really isn't in it in the same way as the locals.

Interests: Austrian medaeval architecture, post war technology, western politics, astronomy and cosmology (not astrology), evoloutionary metrics, the human condition, history and the future. Oh, and I like to travel.


What else you should know about me: I am British, late twenties, educated and intelligent with limited powers of telekinesis. Austrian beer is good; if you want to make a friend just buy me one.

Depends if you're buying... includes the following; Charlie P's, Bettelalm, Strandbar Herrmann, Summer Stage, Roo Bar, Flanagans, Cheslea, Loop, Passage, Portrait, Köö (any), Freiraum, Donau Island, Bermuda Bräu, Franks, The Ring, Museumsquartier, Downstairs, Donau Club, Jenseits... I know my way around the city.
