Real Mexican Food in Wien?
Real Mexican Food in Wien?
I have been searching the last few months in Wien for a real Mexican place, with, specifically a nice burrito. I have been to Salud and a few other places, but really nothing too special. I'm sure ya'll know where to find real Mexican food!
any help will be appreciated!

Check out Taco's Lopez: 1020 Wien, Praterstraße 55, 0699/12589266, tacos@tacoslopez.at. there mole sauce is very good. I have not checked out burritos there, but the tacos and enchiladas are good (especially the mole sauce).

Well, it would look like Tacos Lopez has been your one and only choice for Mexican food here. Sorry to say but I find it to be overpriced and slow. Also small!

I know the guy. I have been going there since they arrived here in 2000. This is their second location and it quite ok. They also have a garden which, on these days of great weather might make it really nice. I am not sure if the prices are so much different, but they are definitely faster. If you go, tell them that you know me, they'll be nice to you.

It is quite easy to get too with the U1. You get off Sudtirolerplatz station and walk half a block down Favoritenstrasse. Just remember to bring cash; they did not take credit last time I was there. Well, you should be used to this by now here in Austria =)

That's close to me!! Yippee!
I'm just like every modern woman trying to have it all. A loving husband, a family. I only wish I had more time to seek out the dark forces and join their hellish crusade. That's all.

Más, on the Laudongasse. It's quite good. And then there is Pancho's, in the second district, close to Taborstrasse, and then there is Salud, in the Schellinggasse in the first. Also quite ok. But none of them are like, amazingly wonderfully great mexicans.

I thought we were talking about real mexican food. Who knows the difference between tex mex and Mexican food?
Just as well... who has tried real tequila?
DO NOT, I repeat: DO NOT drink that OLMECA shit thing. Whatever that is, is not tequila.

well... of course you have!!! Geeeez !
I was more expecting someone from the wider crowd (the ones who have not) to say something... You have already been enlightened with good stuff. Your life shall never be the same.
And that night was absolutely necessary.........
Err... for me to have tequila.
