English first aid courses or anyone to teach me ?

Postby chefsmith » Mon May 09, 2011 7:37 pm

I keep having nightmares or picturing scenarios of something bad happening to Gabi and me being helpless to do anything, and she nearly choked on a piece of squid yesterday and that really shit me up.

Any first aid courses in English that anyone knows of, or does anyone know about this and fancies teaching me ?

I did a course as a teen years ago, but have completely forgotten the info.

Thanks

Gaz here is a basic course:

I am not a certified trainer, however I am a certified First Responder. Any questions after your course drop me a line. If you promise to get them back to me I could also drop off a manual or 2.

Child and Infant CPR will be the big difference for you. Different than that for an adult

I assume Gabi is your child? I had the same thing and my heart literally skipped a few beats. It is such a short time, just a millisecond, and so much can happen in that time. Terrible!
I am looking for a babysitter-course with first aid for same reasons. I need to do the course for official reasons, but after those occasions I am really looking forward to get all the info about the first aid.
